The undulations of Yaki-Yaki effectively trap heat, making it especially suited to grilling.It is designed for use in the fish grill that comes standard with most gas stoves in Japan, but can also be used directly on the stove top.
The Yaki Yaki Grill comes with a wooden stand so it can be taken straight to the table. Steaks can be cut directly on the scratch-resistant grill plate.

The Oigen foundry is located in area that has been producing Nambu ironware for 900 years. By casting in a fine grain sand the ironware has a renowned smooth and unblemished surface. If cared for properly Oigen ironware can last over 100 years and is made from 75% recycled material. The company was founded in 1852.
