Witherspoon Shiitake Brown Watch by Michael Graves for Project Watches
Designed by noted American architect Michael Graves, the Cubit Watch has a parallelogram shaped dial. Cubit has both a hexagonal glass lens and 3-dimensional hexagonal dial and date feature that is "in time" down to the smallest of detail. The Cubit Watch takes its cues from the axonometric drawing method employed by architects to portray an object or building.

Michael Graves received his architectural training at the University of Cincinnati and at Harvard University. Among his many completed projects are the Portland Building, the Humana Building, the Clos Pegase Winery in the Napa Valley, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. Graves was the recipient of fifteen Progressive Architecture Design Awards, nine American Institute of Architects National Honor Awards, and thirty-eight New Jersey Society of Architects, AIA Awards. He is well known for many designs, including the iconic 9093 Bird Whistling Kettle for Alessi, Italy.
