Il Favorito Saffron Light My Fire Scented Candle, 10 oz. by Luca Nichetto for Richard Ginori
From the LCDC Collection...
The symbol of ambition, Il Favorito (The Favorite) is determined and self-assured, obtaining graces and favors for which others, in their envy, would throw themselves into the fire. This single wick designer scented candle is housed in a yellow porcelain container which depicts a face concealed by the phrase Light My Fire. The Amber Lagoon scent evokes an herbal aquatic scent. Scent notes: bergamot, grapefruit, fig leaves, galbanum, aquatic scents, geranium, lavender, cypress, wild musk, thyme, vetiver. Once the wax is finished, the porcelain body can be used as an interior decoration, storage box and container.
About the Collection
Paying homage to the story of Catherine de' Medici and her journey to Paris, the LCDC, La Compagnia di Caterina, collection gives shape to the figures in her entourage: L'Amazzone (The Amazon), L'Amante (The Lover), Il Letterato (The Scholar), Il Seguace (The Companion), Il Favorito (The Favorite), Il Frate (The Friar), and La Dama (The Lady). Each member of Catherine de' Midici's court is considered a symbol of valor to aspire to, an ideal to ignite one's inner fire; to burn with passion, to nourish the fire of ambition, leadership and wisdom, to keep the flame of friendship, grace and generosity alive, and to show great courage even when everything goes up in smoke.
