Loetz was an art glass manufacturing firm located in Bohemia from about 1853-1947. Their primary pieces of interest were Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles from the period of about 1895, when the firm began to produce iridescent art glass similar to Louis Comfort Tiffany's production in the United States. A number of major designers worked with Loetz, including Josef Hoffmann, Otto Prutscher, Dagobert Peche, Michael Powolny, and Marie Kirshner.     Â
