Considered one of the great novels of the 20th Century, Bulgakov's Master and the Margarita was first published posthumously in 1966-1967 in a heavily censored/edited form in Moskva magazine. This text was then published by YMCA Press, Paris in 1967.Samizdat Russian versions (private underground publishing) included the missing texts and were taken to the West. This complete version was then published by Posser-Verlag, Frankfurt in 1969.
Rare and extremely rare in this condition.
