Our Story
With more than 30 years of experience in online retail, Carrie Sheerin founded Amusespot in 2014 with a simple belief: shopping should be fun, design should inspire, and the things we bring into our lives should have a story.
Today, Amusespot is a women-owned, independent retail and online destination based in Henderson, Nevada, offering distinctive design, unique products, and personal service you can trust.
Founded by Carrie Sheerin and Hugh Fogel, Amusespot was created to offer something different from the mass-market shopping experience. We thoughtfully curate lighting, furniture, home décor, fine art, gifts, antiques, kitchenware, barware, spa products, and lifestyle goods from more than 150 designers, artists, makers, and manufacturers around the world.
We look for pieces that are beautifully designed, thoughtfully made, and not found everywhere else—products that spark curiosity, bring personality to your space, and make everyday life a little more enjoyable.
Our customers trust us not only for what we offer, but for how we do business. We believe in knowing our customers, listening to what they need, sharing our expertise, and making every experience personal.
Design, Hospitality & More
Amusespot's expertise extends beyond retail. We work with architects, interior designers, businesses, and hospitality professionals on residential, commercial, restaurant, and hospitality projects.
In December 2023, we lost our co-founder, Hugh Fogel, whose creativity, passion, and vision helped shape Amusespot from the beginning.
Today, Carrie continues to lead Amusespot and carry that vision forward, bringing her decades of retail experience, passion for design, and commitment to personal service to the company's next chapter.
