Elena Salmistraro reworks the most classic scene of the Nativity in a highly artistic composition that combines vast cultural references, as if to underline the global nature of the celebration of this festivity. Holyhedrics is a series of expressive figures arising from multiple imageries, to fascinate always: not only at Christmas.
Holyhedrics is an interpretation of the imagery associated with Christmas, subverting its traditional aesthetic and iconographic canons. The decoration used for this collection is composed of a mosaic of colours and rigid geometries of digital inspiration that interwoves different international cultures and traditions.

About the Designer:
Elena lives and works in Milan. She graduated in industrial design from the Politecnico di Milano and in 2009 founded her studio that works in architecture and design, collaborating as a product designer and illustrator with many companies in the creative industry.
Her designs focus on attention to detail and the harmonious search for forms pursued in anthropomorphism and primitivism. An excess of graphic symbols gives the object a stereoscopic image, transporting it into a territory suspended between fantasy and reality.
