Michael Wainwright makes these bowls in his studio in Michigan. Each bowl is hand thrown by Michael personally per each special order. The Berkshire bowls have an organic form and are adorned with either a gold or a platinum textured rim. No bowl will be the same. The creation process takes time, but the wait for your unique hand made Berkshire bowls is worth it.

Michael Wainwright has been getting his hands dirty in clay since the age of 7. When he graduated from NYU in 1991 with a degree in clay sculpture, he didn't know what to do for a living, so he sold his handmade wares in street fairs and craft shows around New York City on weekends, carting his wares on a handtruck on the subway. Now Michael Wainwright USA sells to stores big and small across the country, and Michael thinks he has finally figured out what he wants to do in life.
