Combining the stringent grooves that characterize Bernadotte’s functionalist aesthetic with a cool and contemporary flat shape, this porcelain dinner plate adds a minimalist touch to the tabletop. About the Designer:
Prince Sigvard Bernadotte (1907-2002) was educated at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm in 1929. He was influenced by the breakthrough of functionalism and the functional ideals of elegance which are incorporated in his designs.
