A beautiful example of Scandinavian modernism, these candleholders bring together both form and function. The Art Deco-inspired grooves give it a strong graphic presence as it holds a taper candle but, simply by turning it upside down, it becomes a tea-light holder making it versatile as well as stylish.

Prince Sigvard Bernadotte (1907-2002) was educated at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm in 1929. He was influenced by the breakthrough of functionalism and the functional ideals of elegance that are incorporated in his designs.
