Child's Fork by Sigvard Bernadotte for Georg Jensen
Georg Jensen
Designed in 1939 by the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, this sterling silver cutlery pattern is a fine example of the functionalist period of the early 1930's. The pattern is decorated in long grooves and a rounded handle which is the signature style of the creator. The Danish king Christian X ate daily meals with Bernadotte cutlery at his residence in Fredensborg Palace.
