Circe Decanter Double for Vista Alegre
A luxurious creation, richly cut in unexpected shapes, the Circe bottle displays a gold-plated engraved medallion, totally hand-painted, and is made using the doublé crystal technique: a second layer of black crystal is applied over a layer of clear crystal; the first layer is then cut, removing the outer surface and creating the decorative motifs in the transparent base.
Not suitable for microwave. Vista Alegre suggests handwashing, however, as they are against heavy use of abrasives contained in dishwasher detergent on their products.
