Designed by Arthur Douglas Nash for Libbey, c. 1932-1935. Nash was the head of Louis Comfort Tiffany furnaces until the firm closed in 1928.  He went on to have a failed eponymously titled company before joining Libbey Glass and designing quite a few very interesting products during his brief tenure.

This vase shows an optic pattern with yellow threading.  It is signed with a Libbey acid stamp.  My favorite part is the base, which is an applied paperweight-style piece of swirled threaded glass.

Very good condition.  No issues noted. Beautiful with a dozen large red roses.

Dimensions: 8.5" h x 5.8" opening,
