Duecento Flatware 20-piece Set in Modern Case by Broggi 1818

Duecento generally refers to Florentine art and design from the 13th Century.
Broggi's take is decidedly modern, with angular accents. The play on the name may be two-fold with the recent 200th anniversary of the firm.  Exaggerated length and the tapered end of the knife are more similar to vintage objects and similar aspects have been used in cutlery design by Gio Ponti and others.
