Feast 8.7" Lapis Lazuli Salad Plate by Yotam Ottolenghi for Serax
Product Description:
Feast 8.7" Lapis Lazuli Salad Plate by Yotam Ottolenghi for Serax
With an abundance of colors, vegetable prints and positive vibes the FEAST collection reflects everything his creator, the British-Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi, stands for. On this project the chef joined hands with Italian artist Ivo Bisignano. “Ivo is a good friend as well as a soul-mate for the creative process in all Ottolenghi graphics”, Yotam Ottolenghi states. The various sizes in plates, the vibrant colors and different patterns all evoke the typical Ottolenghi feeling of ‘outrageous casualness’.

Yotam Ottolenghi is the restaurateur and chef-patron of six Londonbased delis and restaurants. He is the author of eight best-selling cookery books, including renowned titles as Plenty, Jerusalem and Simple. Amongst several prizes, Yotam won two James Beard awards in the US and the UK National Book Award. Yotam has been a weekly columnist for the Saturday Guardian for over thirteen years and is a regular contributor to The New York Times. His commitment to the championing of vegetables, as well as ingredients once seen as ‘exotic’ has led to what some call “The Ottolenghi effect”. This is shorthand for the creation of a meal which is full of colour, flavor, bounty and sunshine’. Together with the Belgian design label Serax he is now launching his very first range of tableware: FEAST.
