Designed in 1916 by Georg Jensen, the Beaded cutlery pattern is delicate and genteel - representative of the Art Nouveau style. With this pattern's hammered surface and simple beading which accentuates the handle, Beaded belongs to Georg Jensen's classic flatware patterns.

In 1904 the Danish silversmith Georg Jensen (1866 - 1935) founded his first modest silver smithy in the heart of Copenhagen. Thirty years later, he had made an international name for himself. When he died in 1935, the New York Herald Tribune saluted him as "the greatest silversmith of the last 300 years."
