Hav Bowl by Royal Copenhagen
From the HAV Collection...
With its understated decoration and elegant form, the HAV Bowl is a versatile porcelain piece that makes a striking impression on its own or when paired with contemporary and classic tableware. Perfect for serving fruit, salads or vegetables, it combines everyday functionality with refined design. The tactile fish-scale pattern is spray-painted by hand in subtle hues inspired by the Danish coastline, bringing a natural sense of texture and movement to the piece.
HAV reinterprets Royal Copenhagen’s rich heritage through a contemporary aesthetic that embraces both tradition and innovation. The collection features multifunctional pieces that offer a fresh perspective on classic tableware, each hand-spray-painted in soft, ocean-inspired tones reminiscent of the mist drifting along Denmark’s shores. Delicate fish-scale details, carefully crafted by hand, lend each piece a distinctive tactile quality, celebrating the beauty of nature and the artistry of Danish craftsmanship.

Behind the Brand...
Proposed as The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory trademark in 1775 by Queen dowager Juliane Marie, every piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain is instantly recognized by the three blue waves on its underside symbolizing the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt - the three main waterways of Denmark.
The delicate decoration of the hand painted porcelain is comparable to the painter own signature and like any other piece of art, Royal Copenhagen skilled blue painters leave their signature on the underside of every piece of porcelain.
