Experiences in construction industry, yacht design, glass and furnishings design. An architect whose projects are mainly based on Technics in his elder meaning of Competence, Expertise, Art. Every object, other than to usability and formal values, has to be coherent to its materials and production processes.

Founded in Cologne in the early 20th Century, Ichendorf moved production and their design studio to Milan in 1990. The firm specializes in pushing the aesthetic boundaries of crystal and borosilicate glass.
