About the Designer:
Valerio Sommella is a designer born in Cortona and raised in Milan, where his studio has been based since 2009. He collaborates with Italian and international companies, designing products ranging from lighting to furniture, from consumer electronics to accessories, exploring the language of objects through formal, material, and technological research.

Founded in Cologne in the early 20th Century, Ichendorf moved production and their design studio to Milan in 1990. The firm specializes in pushing the aesthetic boundaries of crystal and borosilicate glass.
