About the Designer:
Since 2009 he has opened his studio designing products characterized by formal and functional simplicity, combined with technological and emotional research, with the aim of improving everyday life by adding a little wonder, a little amazement in front of a detail or a mechanism. He collaborates with important Italian and foreign companies and has been awarded in various national and international competitions. In 2011, with the Elica lamp produced by Martinelli Luce he won the Compasso d'Oro ADI. In 2010 he was selected for the exhibition "The New Italian Design Reloaded" at La Triennale di Milano, an exhibition still travelling in various museums around the world.
About the Company:
Founded in Cologne in the early 20th Century, Ichendorf moved production and their design studio to Milan in 1990. The firm specializes in pushing the aesthetic boundaries of crystal and borosilicate glass.
