Product Description:
Itsumo Five Piece Placesetting by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi
Itsumo, which in Japanese means "daily and forever," was designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Alessi. The pattern's focus is on the outline/form which appears simple and soft. A closer look shows an angle in the design which delineates the form, allowing a 'feel' in the hand and the tongue- along with the weight of the material.
The five piece placesetting includes the table fork, table knife, table spoon, dessert fork and teaspoon.
Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, in 1956. Fukasawa was one of the major players in the noted IDEO design group. A lecturer in the product design department at Musashino art university and Tama art university in Tokyo, his designs have won more than 50 design awards in Europe and America.
