Developed by Jackson Cannon, Bar Director of the chic Hawthorne cocktail lounge in Boston, the best Bar Knife now has a serrated cousin, perfect for cutting fruit with thicker rinds, such as pineapples.
The newly designed Murphy Edge (Patent Pending), is actually a notched, straight edge; so you can sharpen it with a whetstone! The blade is just over 2 inches longer than its companion, the Jackson Cannon Bar Knife.
Made of high-carbon stainless steel, the knife is surprisingly hefty, with a cocobolo handle and a full tang blade with triple brass rivets. The tip is far more squared than tapered, allowing for ease of rind work, while the blade itself is flush at the top to sweep clean the cutting board.
A must have- exponentially better than the typical paring knives.
