Kastehelmi Bowl, 1.5 qt by Oiva Toikka for Iittala
Originally designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964, the Kastehelmi ("Dewdrop") design was an attempt to hide mold marks from a manufactured glass. The series glistens like dewdrops in the sun, hence the name.
