Part of the production line designed by Philippe Starck for Target, this lamp was a rotationally molded version of the popular Miss Sissi Lamp for Flos.
Reductionist design in concept, the lamp has a replaceable fluorescent bulb in the stem of the lamp. The transformer is located on the wall plug. Cord Switch.
This item is in working condition and is UL Listed. It is sold as a collectible and is not under warranty. It is a vintage item, is used, and may have imperfections.
An interesting note is that the label on the base "Derived from the Original Creation Miss Sissy by Flos" was more than likely a result of licensing issues. Rumor has it that Flos lost production bids on this item by less than $1. There was probably an additional licensing arrangement or no note would be necessary.
