Powerful stories of good, evil, love and jealousy resound in the rustle of silky swan feathers. The delicacy of lace and the rhythm of graceful ballet steps reflect in the precise cut of a collection that is the ultimate testimony to the incredible skill of Czech glass craft.
Odette is the main character of Swan Lake, a classic ballet. Odette loves one, and is loved in return, but gets cursed by another due to jealousy and transforms into a swan. In order to return to her human self, she must find the man she loves while fighting with the dark side of herself, and receive his love in return. This is fatal and even though Odette does return to her human form, Odette and the prince she loves die in order to break the power of the man who cursed her.
Handmade, Hand Cut and Hand Decorated.

Rony Plesl is a designer and a sculptor. During his career, he has experimented with several forms of fine arts using glass and other materials. His works include sculptures, individual works of applied arts, decorative items, as well as industrially produced glassware. Plesl combines a wide range of various influences and principles, intertwined and mingled in numerous forms of his artwork. His love for Italy and history of art go hand in glove with his interest in glass as a material, its structure, visual qualities, and epic stories enshrined therein.
Ruckl, located in the Czech Republic, was founded in 1846. Czech glass has been known for its artistic and often daring approach to the medium for centuries.
