Ossidiana Espresso Maker by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi

Designed by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi, the Ossidiana Espresso Maker plays on the concept of the bubbling of a brewing espresso pot to that of a volcano. The sides of the Ossidiana is related to the image of hewn obsidian, or volcanic glass.

Winner of the Compasso D'Oro, Italy's top Design Prize.

Thermoplastic resin and Cast Aluminum.
