From the Royal Creatures Collection...
The Royal Creatures Shallow Bowl combines elegant design with playful character, making it equally suited to serving and dining. Available in three charming hand-painted motifs – Swan, Grasshopper and Blowfish – each brings a touch of whimsy to the table. Pair the designs together or mix them with other Royal Copenhagen collections for a personal and distinctive expression.
Created by GamFratesi, the Royal Creatures collection reinterprets the timeless decorations of Blue Fluted Half Lace and Princess through beautifully detailed animal illustrations. Behind the Brand...
Proposed as The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory trademark in 1775 by Queen dowager Juliane Marie, every piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain is instantly recognized by the three blue waves on its underside symbolizing the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt - the three main waterways of Denmark.
The delicate decoration of the hand painted porcelain is comparable to the painter own signature and like any other piece of art, Royal Copenhagen skilled blue painters leave their signature on the underside of every piece of porcelain.
