Savoy Vase, 6.25" by Alvar Aalto for Iittala
Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1936 for Karhula, the vase was based on a woman's dress and formed by the traditional manner of blowing glass into a wet wooden mold.
The vase became known as the Savoy vase due to it being included in a project for the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki. It also was included in the Paris Exhibition that same year.
9.2" x 8.8" x 6.25"h.
Available in linen, clear, white, salmon pink, rain, emerald, sea blue, light blue and cranberry.
