Sicily Fish Vase. 11" by Yotam Ottolenghi for Serax
Product Description:
Sicily Fish Vase. 11" by Yotam Ottolenghi for Serax
The creative collaboration between celebrated British-Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi and his good friend, artist Ivo Bisignano, led this time to four exuberant hand-painted ceramic vases. With the Sicily vase collection, they journey from the table to the outside. ‘In Sicily, where I grew up, you eat at the kitchen table while enjoying the view of the colourful balconies with their magnificent flowers’, says Ivo Bisignano. Sicily captures Ottolenghi’s exuberant cooking style and is simultaneously an ode to the sun, colors and passion of Bisignano’s birthplace
Dimensions: 15.1" x 8.13" x 11"h

About the Chef:
Yotam Ottolenghi is the restaurateur and chef-patron of six Londonbased delis and restaurants. He is the author of eight best-selling cookery books, including renowned titles as Plenty, Jerusalem and Simple. Amongst several prizes, Yotam won two James Beard awards in the US and the UK National Book Award. Yotam has been a weekly columnist for the Saturday Guardian for over thirteen years and is a regular contributor to The New York Times. His commitment to the championing of vegetables, as well as ingredients once seen as ‘exotic’ has led to what some call “The Ottolenghi effect”. This is shorthand for the creation of a meal which is full of colour, flavor, bounty and sunshine’. Together with the Belgian design label Serax he is now launching his very first range of tableware: FEAST.
