Designed for Artecnica by Tord Boontje, these vase covers were an early attempt at consumer re-purposing. Made to make everyday discarded containers into ornate vases for flowers, the series was introduced in 2005 and was extremely successful.
Laser cut steel. Ships flat. Assembly required.

About the Designer:
Tord Boontje is a Dutch Designer. He is the recipient of numerous design awards, including Red Dot and Elle Decoration. He is more than likely best known in the United States for his collaboration with Target in 2006.
