Tolomeo Midi LED Task Lamp by Michele de Lucchi for Artemide
Designed for Artemide by Michele De Lucchi with Giancarlo Fassina in 1987, the Tolomeo was an immediate bestseller, consolidating a working relationship that continues to this day. Inspired by traditional balanced arm lamps like the famous Naska Loris, his challenge was to combine an iconic and “domestic” form with innovative technologies and materials, adapting it to a wide variety of uses and settings. Today it is a well-known symbol of the modern object, commonly seen in houses, offices and hotels, on the desks of architects and on photographic and even film sets.
A smaller version than the Classic Tolomeo model, the MIDI has close to a 38" reach versus the Classic's 48". Available in Aluminum or Anthracite Grey finish with clamp, base or inset pivot attachments. Pivot and Clamp are in aluminum finish; Lamp is in color.
Bulb: 9.6W LED 3000K Integrated Lamp; Dimmer on Cord.
Available in clamp, inset pivot and base versions in aluminum finish. The Tolomeo series is extensive, with multiple sizes, shades, and ceiling, wall, suspension, table, and outdoor versions also available. Other options such as integrated LED lamp, Tunable White spectrum technology, and motion sensor are also available.
