Designed for Vidal Sassoon by Marc Newson, this hair dryer features 6 heat and speed combinations with separate controls, a cold shot button, and a swivel cord.
Marc’s design approach for these appliances was driven by revisiting the simplicity of the early Sassoon look. Ergonomics and performance were of great importance and all the pieces had to be high quality, easy to use, and straightforward to manufacture.

About the Designer:
Marc Newson (Australian, born 1963) graduated from Sydney College of the Arts in 1984. His works are in the permanent collections of museums worldwide. Newson was included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2005, and he was honored with the title of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Her Majesty the Queen in 2012.
