Vintage Concrete Clock by Kuno Prey for Danese Milano
A rare example of postmodern design, this distinctive concrete clock was designed by Italian designer Kuno Prey in 1986 for Danese. Cast in concrete, the clock retains the subtle irregularities and variations inherent to the molding process. These natural imperfections give each piece its own character, making every clock uniquely individual.
Designed for versatility, the sculptural form can be displayed either as a wall clock or as a table clock. A discreet battery-powered quartz movement is housed at the rear. A striking expression of 1980s Italian postmodernism, this piece brings together architectural materiality, functional design, and understated individuality.
