Vintage Richard Ritter Fish Murrhine Art Glass Paperweight
Made during his work at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina (c.1971-1978) this Ritter paperweight features his early murrhine work, including a fish.
Signed "Ritter Glass Penland"
approx. 1.5" x 2.75". Minor wear commensurate with age.
Richard Ritter is a notable glass artist who received training under Mark Peiser and Richard Marquis. He has had a number of retrospectives of his work and is in numerous museum collections.
