Wabi & Sabi Collection One of the beauties of both the Wabi and the Sabi collections is the randomness of the patterns; what goes in the kiln is quite different from what comes out. Both have similar techniques, but the results are amazingly different. Both collections are all about the glaze.

About the Designer:
Michael Wainwright has been getting his hands dirty in clay since the age of 7. When he graduated from NYU in 1991 with a degree in clay sculpture, he didn't know what to do for a living, so he sold his handmade wares in street fairs and craft shows around New York City on weekends, carting his wares on a handtruck on the subway. Now Michael Wainwright USA sells to stores big and small across the country, and Michael thinks he has finally figured out what he wants to do in life.
