Gin Journeys Aras Highball Glass, 16 oz., Set of 2 by Waterford
Product Description:
Gin is a lovely and refreshing spirit. Originally more of a medicinal tonic, Gin gets its major aroma and flavor from juniper berries, long thought to possess cleansing and purifcation properties.
With the resurgence of a cocktail culture, Gin has become more and more popular and a large variety of gins are now available since each producer has a different 'recipe.' In addition, excellent gins such as Monkey 47 from Germany have been released in proofs higher than 80.
Recently new designs for Gin and Tonic Glasses (other than highballs) have been introduced These glasses have large capacities and large bowls to allow for more aroma and taste for the drinker. They also permit a more striking presentation for the cocktail.

Behind the Brand
First established in 1789 on land adjacent to Merchants' Quay in the heart of the Irish harbor town of Waterford, Waterford Crystal was founded by brothers George and William Penrose, important developers and principal exporters in the city. Their vision was to "create the finest quality crystal for drinking vessels and objects of beauty for the home." More than two hundred years later, the reputation they established for creating luxury crystal of unsurpassed beauty and quality has transcended the intervening centuries.
Ca. Proposition 65 WARNING: Consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in leaded crystal products will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
