Puzzle Beer Mugs are part of the German beer culture. Featuring holes throughout the body, the mugs can only be used if specific holes are covered. Lithophanes tend to be porcelain of varying thicknesses; they show an image when light is shown on it. These mugs have lithophanes in their bases and show risque images that are only seen when the beer is gone from the mug.
Hart Mugs: Some wear to the iridescence on base. One has a Schedel Bavaria mark. 7"
There are some slight differences in decoration between the two mugs.
Classic Motif Mug: Some loss to paint at top of handle. 6.5"
